We’re thrilled with how positively the new net lanes have been received. It’s fantastic to see them being used so regularly, and we want to make them as accessible as possible for all members.

To help manage usage, we’ve introduced an online booking system through Calendly. We ask all members to book via the link before using the nets — even if it’s a last-minute decision to pop down for a quick session. One of the conditions of our grant funding is that we record usage, so your booking really helps support the club. Most importantly, enjoy the nets and make the most of them.

We’ll do our best to ensure all matches and training sessions are already blocked out on the calendar. However, if there is a clash, team managers or captains may ask you to stop using the nets to prioritise scheduled cricket activity.

These nets are a club facility for everyone to enjoy, so please help us look after them. If you can no longer make your booking, please cancel it so another member can use the lane. We ask all users to follow these simple rules:

NET LANE RULES
• No spikes permitted
• Under 18s must be supervised by an adult
• Under 18s must wear a helmet when using a hard ball
• We strongly advise all users to wear a helmet when using a hard ball
• Maximum of 6 people per lane
• No food in the net lanes
• Please lock the net lane and put all equipment away after use

SAFETY & FACILITIES
• First aid equipment is located in the changing rooms
• Any accidents, damage or breakages must be reported immediately

BAD WEATHER
Please monitor the weather before and during your session. If conditions become wet or unsafe, use of the nets must stop immediately.
